Individuals relocating to the United States face overwhelming and complex challenges, often without community support.
The Center for New Americans, an NCCC program, provides culturally appropriate services to individuals that are new to the country to help them overcome acculturation barriers and encourage them to live productive, quality lives. CNA also employs Nepali-speaking staff.
All of our CNA services are free or covered by insurance:
- Case management
- Yoga, karate, dance, and meditation classes
- Psychoeducation groups on topics such as suicide prevention, women and families, and more
- Access to mental health and substance abuse treatment
- Linkage to community resources and health care
