Housing Coordination

In collaboration with our case management services, NCCC’s housing coordination focuses on helping clients experiencing homelessness or living in inadequate housing. We guide clients through Central Ohio’s complex housing system to ensure they have the qualifications, requirements, and steps necessary to obtain the home they need.

NCCC offers the following housing coordination services:

  • Housing needs assessments to determine opportunities for clients
  • Identifying barriers to housing and providing assistance in overcoming them
  • Housing mediation between landlords, tenants, and case managers
  • Advocacy for clients facing housing barriers
  • Assistance with housing applications
  • Providing linkage to local resources to help obtain housing, furniture, and other related needs
  • Help navigating utility assistance programs like the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) and the Percentage of Income Payment Plan Plus (PIPP)
