School-Based Program

In partnership with Columbus City Schools, NCCC offers a variety of services and techniques to help children and adolescents in Central Ohio. The School-Based Program can help students tackle issues such as self-esteem, anxiety, depression, bullying, trauma, body image issues, and substance abuse. Our licensed clinicians can help kids cope with issues they’re facing in their daily lives.

The School-Based Program can offer the following services and topics to students and their families:

Prevention and treatment services offered through our School-Based Program:

Prevention requires no insurance and is a free service offered to interested students. This is a low level of care where we will focus on topics such as focus/attention difficulties in the classroom, peer/sibling conflict, social skills, minor behavioral issues at school or home, and communication skills.

Treatment services require insurance or an approved application through ADAMH for financial assistance with services. Treatment services are when a full assessment is completed, a diagnosis is given (if appropriate), and a treatment plan is created to address symptoms of depression, anxiety, ADHD, anger/aggression, and more, depending on what the identified needs are of the client.
